MILANI POWDER EYESHADOW REVIEW

Milani was new product that had came out this spring called Powder Eyeshadows. They have twelve pigmented shades of this powder shadow out now which come in a matte or pearl finish.
These shadows run the gamut from neutral and soft to super bold and bright. Something for everyone!
My experience with the pigmentation varied depending on the type of shadow it was. The matte shades seemed a little patchy and chalky. Harder to blend. The pearl shades were really even, smooth and pigmented.

White Lie is a white matte. It looks super bright white in the pan but came off more subtle. Hard to blend.

French Vanilla is a vanilla matte. This one is pale and a bit chalky.

Pearl is a pearly light taupe. It's pretty subtle but would make a nice highlight shade.

Gold Dust is a vivid warm burnt gold pearl. Gorgeous color, excellent payoff.

Tickled Pink is a medium warm pink pearl with slight gold duochrome. Pigmented and soft!

Caramel Brown is a medium bronze/brown pearl. Again, great pigmentation, soft and nice color.

Brown Stone is a medium brown matte. A bit patchy.

Shocking Pink is an uber bright pink matte. Again, a little patchy.

Olympian Blue is a bright medium blue matte. Patchy but so pretty anyway.

Just Perfect is a green teal pearl. Nice shade, nice pigmentation.

Purple Shock is a medium lavender pearl with blue duochrome. Super soft and amazing. Very similar to Urban Decay Asphyxia.

Pitch Black is a jet black matte.

Of all the mattes this had the best payoff and least amount of patchiness. I was kind of surprised just HOW black it was, and like it!

Availability: Exclusive to CVS.

Pricing: $4.49 for 0.11 oz.

Milani Color Play Felt-Tip Liquid Pens

Milani Color Play Felt-Tip Liquid Pens are a new limited edition product this season and come in six shades.

These liquid pens can be used on your eyes, face or body! They have a very soft felt pen tip, and are water resistant and long lasting. They’re really easy to use, the pen tip has just enough “give” so you have control over it, but it glides onto your skin smoothly. No running or bleeding of color. You can use just the tip for a thin line or the side for a thicker one.

White Line is a very bright opaque white.
Pink Point is a medium pink. This one is a little lighter than you may think.
Jaded Edge is an opaque jade green.
Blue Definition is an opaque bright blue.
Gray Strokes is a silvery grey, This one, like Pink Point, isn’t quite as opaque.
Black Line is an opaque jet black.

Overall: Good stuff! I like that you can use these not only as a traditional liquid liner, but also to draw anywhere on your face. They do stay on nicely, although I noticed if you go over one of the lines too much, it might get thick and crack. They wash away easily with warm water and a cleanser. The best and most opaque shades are White Line, Jaded Edge, Blue Definition and Black Line.

Availability: At select Walgreens and Milani website.

Pricing:  I had bought it for $6.99 for 0.02 oz.

Maybelline Limited Edition Fall 2012 Fashion Week Color Tattoo Eyeshadows review

I was lucky enough to find a full display of the new Maybelline Limited Edition Fall 2012 Fashion Week Color Tattoos at Rite Aid.  I purchased all four shades for $6.69 there are 0.14 oz each. I was able  to test them out for a bit to see how it feel. they are creamier, smoother and more true to the color then what you see in the pot when applied to the eyes. Each of these shades is build able, but provide excellent pigmentation on the first swipe. Neither of these shades is spotty, dry or difficult to apply.

Barely Beige is a true light beige with a shimmery finish. If you put Mac paint Bare study Barely Beige is more beige and Bare Study is more on the the gold side. It is just as smooth as a paint pot. I notice that it does last long on the eye. It took me a while to remove the swatch off my are even with soap and water.

Gold Shimmer is a bronzy-brownish-gold with a shimmery finish. I notice after I had film the video that Gold shimmer and Bold gold and almost the same but Bold Gold is more gold and Gold Shimmer is more bronze gold.

Mossy Green is a deep olive green with gold shimmer. I love it I don't have anything like this in my collection. I love this olive looking color this is going to be a great fall color nice smooth.

Rich Mahogany is a dark, coffee brown with red shimmer. I notice it you put bad to the bronze and Rich Mahogany then look almost the same but Bad to the Bronze is more lighter and more cool brown and Rich Mahogany is more deep brown.

It sad that these are limited edition but overall these are great. If you're looking for base colors to give your powder eye shadows more staying power and intensity, I think that any of the four shades in this collection would work well. These shadows have the same consistency as the other Color Tattoos. They are exceptionally creamy, pigmented and long wearing. I love these shadows because they work just like MAC paint pots but for the fraction of the cost you can't beat that. These are a great primer/base and the best thing is that they don't crease.

PARIS AMOUR SHOWER GEL REVIEW

Before I get started with the review. I just remind you that I had gotten this product as part of my Influenster Latina beauty voxbox for review purposes. This will not change my option in any matter what so ever as to what I think about this product.

I love Bath and Body products. I had tired to so many scents from them. I just cant stick to one. So when I was sent this one I was so excited to try it. I think this is the bath and body shower gel I had ever tired. I always lean to buy the lotion, body butter, fine fragrance mist, or even the candle. So this was nice for a change to try something different.

There exclusive formula is now enriched with Shea Butter for softer, cleaner skin in our bubbliest lather ever! boy does it ever. I love the fact that it really lather well. It makes me feel that I am really getting really clean. Moisturizing Aloe Vera and skin-loving Vitamin E combine with the romantic scents of Paris! French tulips, apple blossoms and sparkling pink champagne sweeten up lather that bursts with fragrance. The fragrance does last on the body after you are finish taking a shower I would say maybe for about hour or two I think you combine the lotion and the body mist it would last a lot longer. That how most of the bath body products work. They work better if they are combine together.

The notes contain Sparkling Mandarin, Petite Strawberry, Cassis, Pink Champagne, Apple Blossom, Dewy Freesia, Luscious Peach, Jasmine Petals, French Tulip, Water Lily, Frangipani.

To me I smell more of the berry which I guess that would be the strawberry and I do smell the apple and a bit of peach.

I do have to say the this scent it is an appropriate product for a little girl. I would agree especially if you were looking for a gift for someone of that age group or for someone who does not like stronger or bolder fragrances. It is surely directed toward a younger crowd. Its very sweet and girly.

Overall I really like this scent it is real girly girl scent it takes me back when I was younger to my grade school days. So if you are the kind of person who does not like sweet candy girly girl scent than this is not the product for you.

VEET READY TO USE WAX STRIPS,LEG & BODY

Before I get started with the review. I just remind you that I had gotten this product as part of my Influenster Latina beauty voxbox for review purposes. This will not change my option in any matter what so ever as to what I think about this product.

I want to start off by saying I had never ever wax my legs before. I use shaving products and alot of them. So when I was ask to try this product I have to admit I was scared. The thought of use wax on my legs to get the hairs removed really freaked my out but I decided to bite the bullet.

VEET states that these strips are specially formulated to remove hair on the legs, underarms and bikini area from closer to the root than shaving for smoothness that lasts up to 4 weeks. This contains Ready-to-Use Wax Strips Leg & Body (40-Count) and 6 wipes.

The number one thing to remember is that human error is more likely than factory error, at least in this case with so many successful stories. If it doesn't work, don't flip a table and rage quit. Try a different approach, read some guides, and understand that everything has a learning curve.

After a few practice attempts, I found I didn't need to use the heating method (rubbing them) on the strips while they were off of my skin. I simply placed them on cold, then rubbed in the direction of the hair growth until I could feel friction heating the wax on my skin. I believe this contact heat and pressure are key.

Here is the picture of what the strips look like.

Have no fear! Don't be timid with the ripping. Allow yourself one hesitation, then give it hell. Rip fast, and rip close to the skin. Being mousy and cowardly will only make it hurt worse. If it hurts at all. If you find it does hurt badly, I have seen several online reviews that say rubbing an ice cube on the skin right before ripping dulls the sting.

This system also came with wipes.

After a hard days work I want to just hang out and not worry that my legs don't look right.

From day to night and ready to party what do you think.

Overall
Very, Very little pain. (Though I'm mentioning it, but I have a high pain tolerance)

Little to no residue left behind. I didn't even need to use the wipes that provided in the package

Light red pin-prick complexion that went away within the hour.

Ability to get two rips from one sheet. (which is some cases you might need to do so.)

Complete hair removal. I am the proud thick black hair. Trust me, this is an accomplishment.

The sheets are cutable/resizable for touch-up rips (though the box says not to do this)

Available at Rite aid, Walgreen, Target where ever Veet is sold

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen, SPF 30 reivew

Before I get started with the review. I just remind you that I had gotten this product as part of my Influenster Latina beauty voxbox for review purposes. This will not change my opinion in any matter what so ever as to what I think about this product.

I love using products from Hawaiian Tropic. Hawaiian Tropic sun protection SPF 30 with hydrating ribbons infused with silk protein and Shea butter provides continuous moisture. Luxurious hydrating ribbons keep skin continuously moisturized. The Shea Butter provides continuous 12 hour moisture and broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection that won't break down in the summer sun. This available in SPF 12 30 AND 50. Light, tropical fragrance. Sun-sure formula that protects longer compared to ordinary sunscreens. Lightweight feel. Protect, pamper, nourish for beautiful radiant skin.

It spreads easily and goes on clean and light. Some sunscreens, you can just tell that it's on you. Or, in the worst case, they are so thick that they block your pores and they make you feel even hotter than the temperature you're in. That's not the case here. This is actually a very nice sunscreen product. It is not sticky or greasy at all, and it does a good job of preventing sunburn while keeping my skin hydrated.

After a few minutes, the only thing that lets you know you are wearing the product is the smell, which is overwhelmingly coconut. Which does not bother me. Aside from the smell, this is a really good sunscreen that is easily applied and provides plenty of protection. I think if Hawaiian Tropic decides to make an unscented version, alot more people would be all over it.

Overall I really love this product it is a must buy for my beach bag every summer.

Price : In a full size 6 fluid ounce bottle for about $7.99

Available: In most drug store like CVS, Walgreen Rite aid, Target where ever Hawaiian Tropic are sold.

NYC LIQUID LIP SHINE NUDE YORK CITY REVIEW

Before I get started with the review. I just remind you that I had gotten this product as part of  my Influenster latina beauty voxbox for review purposes. This will not change my opinion in any matter what so ever as to what I think about this product.

Now the only product that I have ever tried from NYC was their bronzer in sunny and some of their liquid lip shine. So I was so excited to try out this product in this shade. This product claims to keep your lip soft. It's pure pigment ingredients create a 3-D gloss effect while vitamin E provides shine and moisture. The non-sticky formula creates the ultimate creamy and soft textured feel.

This product is available in 10 shades in stores like Rite Aid, Walgreen, CVS, Duane Read and anywhere NYC product are sold.

You can also can get it on there website which is (http://www.newyorkcolor.com)

The price for this item is 2.49

It states NYC New York Color offers products with uptown style at down-to-earth prices, from $.99 - $4.99. The energy, style and color of New York City shines through the wide range of shades, textures and innovative products. NYC always delivers the most on-trend products & shades hot off the runway!

A beauty-editor favorite is Liquid Lipshine ($2.49). It has pure pigments that created a 3-D gloss effect. Vitamin E provides shine and a moisturizing feel. The formula is non-sticky, super shiny & soft. Available in 10 on-trend shades from neutral nudes, to berries & fuchsias.

The color that I have gotten is called Nude York City #582 it a nice nude color. I think this was the stander color that everyone had gotten in there Influenster Voxbox.

As you can see it has a doe foot applicator. I notice that the applicator is very flexible and very soft when in use. The color is a lovely nude with peachy undertones. It is sheer but build able. I also notice that when you apply the lip gloss the color that's in the tube is not what you get. it is very sheer but it does have shine and a bit of shimmer that does transfer on to the lips. The texture has a smooth consistency and only slightly sticky.

Hope you can see the shine that it brings. Since I had so many things going on with the eyes. I wanted to keep the lips more natural looking and this lip gloss really did the trick.

Be warn the lip gloss does have a scent to it. The gloss smells wonderful, I believe it has vanilla, coconut and a hint of chocolate, which really makes for a great combination. But only if you like that type of thing. The scent does last for about an hour or so.

One downside for some people is that this product uses paraben preservatives. Some care, some don’t. It’s really a personal preference.
