GARNIER SKIN RENEW MIRACLE SKIN PERFECTOR B.B CREAM

Lets me start off by saying that I received this product complimentary from BzzAgent for their Garnier B.B.Cream BzzCampaign. I also received some coupons. This is my honest opinion and because I had gotten this product for free this will not change the way I feel in anyway shape or form.  


I have been use this product for a few weeks now. In all types of weather you see I live in New York and as of lately we have been have cold weather to cool weather to warm weather I guess you can say that mother nature can't seem to make up her mind if she wants to stay and give us New Yorkers the weather we deserve. Well anyway this product really helps me saves time for me in the morning . You know how it is for us woman to get ready. With just one product that offers advanced skincare and immediate skin perfecting coverage. This hybrid formula renews brightens and evens skin tone, and what great about this products it protects me with SPF 15 UVA and UVB sunscreen.

B.B stands for Blemish Balm or beauty balm. It more of a multifunction cream that has coverage and skin properties. It promises natural-looking skin coverage. It will give you a good base for makeup like a primer, even out complexion like a tinted moisturizer, cover minor imperfection like a concealer, hydrate your skin like a day cream .It wont cover like a foundation so if you suffer from spots you might need to go over your problem ares with a concealer. 


Some say it B.B cream originated in Germany, others say Korea. BB Creams have been big business in Southeast and East Asia for almost a decade. I say it about time they came to the state . Garnier is the first drug store B.B cream that is on the market so far, but iam pretty there will be more to follow.  

This products contains 2.5 gram where most B.B cream contain 1.5 grams which means you get double the products for a better price.

No Yellow undertones : These aren't made spectically for Asian skin. Which is a good thing because I notice that most or maybe all B.B cream have been on the market have some kind of grayish tint after you apply to the skin it will later on adjust to their skin color but for what ever reason they never made anything like this for darker skin tone. So I guess you can say this is a first which is a good thing. 

Pros's

SPF 15 if you don't wear sunscreen on your face, you'll have some sort of UV protection on your face . Some SPF is better then nothing weather it is in the winter of the summer.

Price you can not go wrong for $13 dollars isn't bad especially when sometimes you can find deals like buy one get on half off or maybe a $1 off coupons

How it looks I don't know if it is just me but I do see some kind of glow with this product maybe it is the SPF 15 or the some of chemicals that it contains that gives me that nice glow.

Feels very light does even feel like you have any makup on at all . You can pull off a makeup no makeup look with this product.

Amount all you need is a nickel size to apply all over your face . I feel any more then that will make your skin feel greasy.

Don't get me wrong there is some con's with this product.

Con’s

Skin tones: There is only light and medium which is a very small range What happen to darker skin tones . Iam a NC42 to NC45 depend on the season this product almost didn't match my skin. So I can imagine anyone darker then me would have a hard time making this product work for them. I have also heard people who have pale skin also having the same problem as well.


Skin type: I have normal skin I would not recommend it for anybody with an oily skin type because I feel with the moisture that I feel that is leaves behind it might be too much for a person with oily skin type to bare. Besides me having the skin type that I do have I feel that I have to use an allover face powder because I feel this product will move around threw out the day.


Scent: If you are familiar with the Garnier product line when it comes to their scent you can imagine what this smells like. It OK but I wish they didn't do that not too many people would like having a scented product like this lingering on there face . It does take a while before the scents is gone. I would say maybe and hour or two at the most.


Packaging; Don't get me wrong I do like the packaging but I just wish the tube was a bit more pointer and the end because I fine it that this way it would be less messy when the product comes out.


Over all


I really do like this product but like any other product they do have it's pro' and con's but I think the pros's over comes the con's. Would I buy this product with my own money .Yes I would I'm glad that I had the opportunity to try out this product. I think if I didn't get to try it out for myself I wouldn't have even take a second look at this product at the store.

FAUNA

As you can see the first shade is very sheer. I really had to pack it on for the color to show. As you can see in the picture in the pan it's a light peach with shimmer but when it applied on the skin it more of a white shimmer then anything peachy.

The turquoise in the palette is very sheer as well It was packed it on. It has a lot of sliver shimmer when applied on to the skin. The color seems to fade a bit when applied from a dark blue to a light blue. There is also fall out. So be warn don't where your foundation when using the eyeshadow.

The purple is my favorite out of all of the whole palette. It also have silver shimmer. When applied it also not as pigmented as what you see in the pan but it will get the job done. It doesn't seem to have any fall out. I love how it look for brown eyes. It a nice pop of color.

FLORA

I wanted to talk about the  neon orange first. It is the only Matt shadow in the whole collection. I was very disappointed. Who doesn't love a good Matt. I really had to pack it on for the color  for it to show. It also seems a little chalky and powdery so be warn with the color make sure you apply your foundation last . I think I will try use the Maybelline color tattoo in fierce & tangy that might do the trick for the shadow not only stick but also for the color to be more vibrant.

The jade green seems to have gold shimmer when you look at in the pan. But when you apply it the gold shimmer seems to disappear a little and applies as golden tone with the over lay of the green on top. It seems almost metallic looking in different light.

The lime green that you see in the pan is like a yellow green with a bit of gold shimmer. When applied onto the skin it looks more gold then yellow still having the shimmer in place.

OVERALL

The shadows was a little disappointing I was really expecting more from this collection. I think with a good base the colors could work and by applying the shadows using a patting motion and not a blushing motion. I notice you would lose a lot of the color and also and the shimmer would would fall on the face. Remember some of the colors does cause a bit of fallout and the last thing you'll need it for you to do your whole foundation routine because of all that fallout.

There is not much to say about the lip gloss the glass confusion is a light pink tint but as you rub it to the lips the pink tint disappear and leaves a bit of shimmer.
As for mow the glass it is really a clear gloss all you see is a high shine on the lips. Both lip gloss are not sticky at all.

The blush Mellow Wine is a Matt dark pink with a hint of red with no shimmer very pigmented. So pigmented you have to be careful not to apply too much unless you want to go for that clown look.
As for Pearlescent Pink is just like what it says it does have this pearl look it reminds me of  Nars orgasm blush without the shimmer so it is a bit tone down.

As for the nail Polish I have not tried them yet. So nothing to report on them for now.

WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN

I think for the price it's OK. You do get a lot of product for the price. But if I had a change a to do it again and know what I know about the eyeshadow would I but it again. I would say No I would pass. The only really reason for buying the product was for the eyeshadow the blush the gloss and the nail Polish was just an added bonus

As the weather is getting warmer and warmer hear in NYC I wanted to show off some colors . I think I did good job what do you think.

KATE MOSS RIMMEL LONDON COLLECTION

So for are while Rimmel London have been working with Kate Moss for the next lipstick collection maybe not too many people know but Kate is a real Rimmel London girl. They have produce five lipsticks shade. It is said to be a new formula that infused with Black Diamond. Which is something that I have never heard before.


For what ever reason they did not add names to the lipstick instead they added numbers.

I do like the fact that Kate Moss did put a little spin like changing the packaging to this nice slick black cover and sealed each with her signature that was a nice touch.

The lipstick it self is very smooth, creamy and well pigmentented as you can see hear.

It does have a good lasting power and I feel like I don't really have to touch up as much. As long as I don't eat or drink anything. But that impossiable a girl got eat but I can really say that I really do love this product and I love the fact that this is a drug store product so it is easy for me to find at my local Walgeen. Well at least that where I was able to find mine.
